The 32nd America’s Cup Programme
For the first time in 150 years, the America’s Cup has returned to Europe yet while the America’s Cup match is not until 2007, as part of the ongoing evolution of the regatta, the sailing calendar will now feature preliminary Acts giving each team the opportunity to measure their performance against the other yachts. Each Act will become increasingly important as the results will determine the ranking for the early rounds of the Louis Vuitton Cup, the winner of which will compete against Alinghi for sailing’s greatest prize - The America’s Cup.
