Vietnam to use locally made BirdFlu Vaccines

Vietnam have come up with there own ‘home grown’ bird flu vaccine which has been tested succesfully on chickens/ducks.
The Central Animal Health Institute was determining a suitable dosage and completing formalities for standard recognitions of safety and production processes, the institute’s director Truong Van Dung said.
They will begin using the vaccine early next year.

Bird Flu Outbreak in Southern Sudan

Authorities in southern Sudan confirmed on Wednesday they had an outbreak of the H5N1 strain of bird flu in poultry.

School Officials release Bird Flu Guidelines

North American schools are releasing new guidelines on how to handle Avian Birdflu if it  outbreaks in the Country.
Wednesday the state schools chief made a checklist available to all schools to help them better prepare and respond to pandemic flu.
