Comparison Chart: Emergent vs Bible
Spotted this Chart that Compares Emergent churches to the Bible
To be honest I’m not sure I have the brain capacity to really critique this critique on the Emerging Church at the moment but my initial reaction to the comparison is that it is a gross generalization and that many of the comparisons and critique could be leveled against other churches and movements.
I’m interested in what others (who’ve had a bit more sleep, exercise and time away from the computer today than me) think about this chart.

I find this table a little silly to tell you the truth. Imagine if we reverse the aim of the table - and we showed the so-called biblical critique of the mainline established church. What point is proved? Nothing in my opinion.
The agenda to be my reading seems to be to illustrate the foolishness of the ermeging church and to show the errors of they ways.
Somewhere, somehow it seems to me that some buttons have been pushed - and pushed hard. But, hey I am tired too so maybe that is my tired brain talking

Yeah it makes some pretty sweeping statements. Just a thought from someone probably less tired….
