Gladwell on Personality Typing
Malcolm Gladwell has written a great little book called Buy the Tipping Point that I often rave about but its only been in the last few weeks that I’ve stumbled upon his website. I can’t believe I didn’t go looking for it earlier - but sometimes my brain moves in mysterious ways. Anyway I eventually stumbled upon it and have been working through some of his freely available articles there this week.
Of particular interest to me is his article on personality type testing which he does a good job of pointing out the limitations of. I’ve always been fascinated by personality testing (and any similar tests - of which there are many online) but have always found their lines of questioning and conclusions somewhat frustrating. Its nice to see that I’m not alone.
