IBM T43 ThinkPad
Here is the first of numerous posts today about gadgets. I tend to spend a lot of my days in my blogging linking to posts like this article from Trusted Reviews which announces the new IBM T43 ThinkPad Notebook. I’ll probably not write my normal 25 or so gadget posts for the day today, but will cover a few of them for the readers coming across to this site from blogs like my Laptop Blog (welcome friends - donate big for the cause!)
‘IBM today unveiled its latest ThinkPad notebook – the T43, which it claims is its fastest thin-and-light notebook to date. The machine is one inch thin and weighs 4.5 pounds (2.04Kg),
The T43 is equipped with a fingerprint reader, and offers new versions of IBM’s security and recovery software. Rescue and Recovery 2.0 with Antidote Delivery Manager is an enhancement to IBM’s ThinkVantage technology. It enables one-button relief from worms and viruses, even if the operating system has been corrupted.
“The addition of the ThinkPad T43 to our notebook family underscores our commitment to quality, innovation, and to meeting demand for secure notebook computing,” says Marc Godin, Vice President of Marketing and Channels, IBM EMEA Personal Computing Division. “In this class of ThinkPad notebooks, outstanding performance is a given.
