Where Does the Money Go?
100% of revenue raised from this blog via donations, sponsorships an other advertising is donated to The Oak Tree Foundation’s worthwhile Tsunami Appeal.
I’ll post more information on Oak Tree as we get closer to the day of the blogathon but they are an innovative movement of young Australians who are seeking to empower and equip children and youth in the developing world.
The story of the Oak Tree foundation was started by an inspirational young man by the name of Hugh Evans who has been recognized for his work with Oak Tree by being named in 2004 as ‘Young Australian of the Year‘ and was also named ‘Young Person of the World’ by Junior Chamber International.
Hugh has been in the areas impacted by the Tsunami over the past 10 days and returns to Melbourne today.
I highly commend Oak Tree Foundation to you and know that the money donated through this project will make a real difference in the lives of Children in the areas affected by the Tsunami.
