Week 3 - ‘Travel’
Welcome to week 3 of Blogger Idol - a way of expressing your creativity, finding new readers for your blog and meeting other new bloggers.
The topic for week 3 of Blogger Idol is ‘Travel’
Respond to the them in any way - Tell us your favorite travel destination, post a picture of the coolest (or uncoolest) thing you ever bought while traveling, tell a road trip story, describe that trip you’ve always wanted to take but haven’t gotten around to - whatever. To topic of broad to allow you to plenty of flexibility and creativity in your response.
You can write a story, post a picture, do a rant, do something serious, sarcastic or humorous - whatever you’d like!
Anyone with a blog can enter this round by following the simple steps outlined below - remember unlike the TV Idol shows this is not a competition.
![]()
Following are the steps you need to follow to enter:
1. Post something on the above theme on your blog during the next 5 days. Anything goes including a photo, rant, poem, story, artwork etc.
2. Include a link in your entry to this page.
3. Leave a comment below (this will automatically post a link to your entry in the main section of this page). To make this automatic (and cut down the work I have to do)
a) leave your blog or personal name in the ‘Name’ field
b) leave the ‘email’ field blank
c) post the URL of your ‘entry’ (to the individual entry - not your general blog address) in the ‘URL’ field
d) in the ‘Comment’ field leave a short description of your entry (up to 10 words). Please don’t leave general comments below.
4. Come back over the next week and start reading others posts. Take part in the ‘judging’ (there is no winner) process by linking to your favorites on your own blog. I suggest you pick your ‘Top 5′ to showcase - highlighting the posts that you resonate with or those that have grabbed your attention the most.
Have fun - be creative - celebrate diversity - meet new bloggers
If you would like to receive future blogger idol themes via email leave a comment on this post simply saying ‘email me’
If you would like to suggest a topic for future weeks submit it here.
