Ugandan Rugby Sevens Team Not Certain To Compete

Despite securing an automatic place in the Commonwealth Games Rugby Sevens competition after finishing third in the 2004 World Cup qualifiers in Zambia, the Uganda Olympic Committee is considering throwing them out after their dismal performance at the recent Dubai International Seven’s tournament.

UOC to meet over Games

The Ugandan Olympic Committee will meet on Saturday to come up with a strategy for the build up to next years Commonwealth Games.
Uganda will be represented in seven disciplines - Rugby Sevens, Athletics, Boxing, Weightlifting, Table Tennis, Shooting and Badminton.
