Australia Win Women’s 10m Air Pistol Pairs

Australian Shooters Dina Aspandiyarova and Lalita Yauhleuskaya have won the Women’s 10m Air Pistol Pairs. Joseline Lee Yean Cheah and Bibiana Pei Chin Ng from Malaysia take the Silver while Georgina Geikie and Julia Lydall take the Bronze from England.

England wins Open Full Bore Pairs

English Shooters Glyn Barnett and Parag Patel have won the gold medal for the Open Full Bore Pairs. Australian shooters James Corbett and Bruce Scott have claimed the silver medal while Md Zainal Adidin Bin and Hamsan Zulkeflee Bin have won the bronze medal for Malaysia.

Louise Minett and Becky Spicer have won the Gold medal for England in the Women’s 50m Rifle 3 Position Prone Pairs. Anjali Mandar Bhagwat and Anuja Jung from India have won the silver and Mohamed Nur Suryani Binti and Baharin Nurul Hudda Binti have won the Bronze for Malaysia.

Australia open Day four with Gold in Women’s 10m Air Pistol Pairs

Squash Injury won’t stop Azlan

Malaysian Squash player Azlan Iskander is adamant that his troublesome hamstring problem wont prevent him from winning his first ever Commonwealth Games medal.
Azlan came back strongly to clinch the KL Open title last month and then helped Malaysia make a clean sweep at the Asian Champs in Taiwan.

Hasli may quit national team after Commonwealth Games

Shooter Hasli Izwan Amir Hassan plans to quit after the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne next month to look for a job.
The 29-year-old pistol shooter, who has donned national colours since 1997, has never held a job since he left school 10 years ago.

Malaysia predicted on Tuesday its 163-strong team would win 10 gold medals at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne next month.
