Both Malaysia and Canada have beaten their opponents 4-0 in today’s hockey matches meaning Nigeria and Barbados have a lot of work to do if they want to finish in the top two of their group now that their points difference has taken a hammering.
Barbadoes will have a record 132 athletes at the Commonwealth Games in March with that number possibly increasing further as more qualify closer to the games.
The Barbadoes Olympic Association now has to raise $500,000 USD to cover the cost of getting the athletes to Melbourne to compete at the Games.
