John Steffensen has won another Gold Medal for Australia in the Men’s 400m track and field event. Grenada’s Alleyne Francique won the silver medal and Jamaica’s Jermaine Gonzales won the bronze.

New Zealand Win Gold in Women’s Shot Put

Valerie Vili from New Zealand has smashed the Commonwealth Games record to win the Gold medal with a distance of 19.66m. Silver medal winner was Vivien Chukwuemeka from Nigeria and the bronze went to Cleopatra Borel-Brown from Trinidad and Tobago.
