Hollie Dykes has won the Gold Medal for Australia in the Women’s Floor Gymnastics event. Team mate Ashleigh Brennan has won the Silver medal and Francki Van Rooyen has won the bronze medal for South Africa.
Grant Golding from Canada has won the Gold Medal in the Men’s Parallel Bars. Silver and Bronze medals went to Australian’s Philippe Rizzo and Joshua Jefferis.
Canada’s Elyse Hopfner-Hibbs has won the Gold medal in the Women’s Beam. The silver medal went to Hollie Dykes from Australia and Becky Downie from England won the Bronze.
Kyle Keith Shewfelt has won the Gold medal in the Men’s Vault for Canada. Nathan Gafuik, fellow team mate, has won the Silver medal and Samuel Offord from Australia has taken the bronze.
Joshua Jefferis and Damian Istria have won the Gold and Silver medals in the Men’s Rings event as part of the Gymnastics Artists program. Irodotos Georgallas from Cyprus has won the bronze medal.
Elyse Hopfner-Hibbs has won the Gold for Canada in the Women’s Uneven Bars. Shavahn Church has won the Silver for England and Monette Russo has won the bronze for Australia.
Imogen Cairns has won the Gold medal for England in the Women’s Vault as part of the Artistic Gymnastics Event. Alyssa Brown has won the Silver medal for Canada and Naomi Russell has won the bronze for Australia.
England’s Louis Smith has won the Gold in the Men’s Pommel Horse as part of the Gymnastics Artistc event at the XVIII Commonwealth Games. Prashanth Sellathurai has won the silver medal for Australia and Grant Golding has won the bronze medal for Canada.
Joshua Jefferis has won the Gold medal for Australia with team mate Philippe Rizzo finishing third for the bronze medal behind Canadian Nathan Gafuik who won the silver medal.
Injury may force world championship all-around medallist Monette Russo out of the event at the Commonwealth Games, her coach has said.
The 17-year-old became the first Australian woman to win an individual medal at a world championships when she claimed bronze in the all-around event last November.

Four National Sports Academy (NSA) gymnasts have been selected for the Commonwealth Games to be held at Melbourne, Australia from March 15 to 26.
The gymnasts are Ashish Kumar, Mayank Srivastava, Rohit Jaiswal and Vivek Mishra.
