Canada win Gold in Men’s 105kg Weightlifting
Akos Sandor has won the Men’s 105kg Weightlifting event for Canada. Valeriane Sarava from Australia has won the silver medal and Che Mohd Azrol Bin Che Mat from Malaysia has won the bronze.

Geeta Rani and Simple Kaur Bhumrah from India have won the Gold and Silver medals in the +75kg Weightlifting with New Zealand’s Keisha-Dean Soffe winning the bronze medal.

New Zealand will be represented by 4 weightlifters in Melbourne with two members of the team having lifted at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester in 2002.
