Eight Times National Title Holder Misses Out
New Zealand Bowler Gary Lawson who holds eight national titles has missed out on a spot in the Commonwealth Games team after failing to qualify for the men’s singles.
His Games team-mate Justin Goodwin also missed out, failing to qualify. Lawson’s pairs partner however, Rowan Brassey, was undefeated and showed the true form of the two time world champion.
Making the cut was 2005 Asia Pacific triples gold medalist Richard Girvan.
