Kimberly Smith hoping for MRI good news
After qualifying for the 5000m with a time of 15m 06.88s, Kimberley Smith may not make the Commonwealth Games after she hobbled off the track after winning the event at the nationals with a time considerably slower than her qualifying time.
Smith is having an MRI early this week to confirm that there was no tendon damage or muscle rupture which could end her chances at competing at the Games which would be a blow to her Games campaign.
