Maltese Women’s Basketball ready to win
Malta’s women’s basketball team will be one team to watch at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne after they finished third at the FIBA Promotion Cup in Andorra in July 2004. The team lost only one game throughout the competition, helping them to reach the goals set prior to the event.
Malta will play New Zealand, Nigeria and Malaysia in the pool games before the top two teams go through to the Semi Finals of the event.
