Scotland Name Sevens Squad for Commonwealth Games
Scotland’s Rugby Sevens coach Rob Moffat has selected an exciting mix of sevens specialists and rising stars for the country’s shot at the medals in Melbourne.
Scotland’s most capped player, Mark Lee, will lead the squad while David Gray returns from playing first division in England.
Regulars from the IRB circuit include Oli Brown, Clark Laidlaw and Colin Gregor with Andrew Turnbull on schedule to return from a knee injury in time for the games. New comers Ross Rennie, Rob Dewey and Ciaran Beattie have also been named.
Scotland will play Canada, Zambia and IRB stalwarts Fiji in Pool B during the tournament.
