Scotland, New Zealand and South Africa oust Australia in the pool
The Australian’s have been talking up the events they have been wanting to take home not only just the gold medal, but a clean sweep of the Silver and Bronze as well. Tonight however, it was the Scots that surprised everyone when Caitlin McClatchey beat the favoured Libby Lenton in the Women’s 200m Freestyle and then a few minutes later, David Carry bought home the gold in the 400m Freestyle final.
New Zealand won a Gold in the Men’s 200m Butterfly and the South African’s also forced the Australian’s into the silver medal place in the Men’s 400m 4×100 Freestyle final.
