Security forces stretched thin for VIP visits and Games
SECURITY forces will be stretched to the limit in coming weeks as the Queen and former US president Bill Clinton come to Sydney.
Mr Clinton will be in the city on Wednesday for the Global Business Forum being held at the Sydney Convention Centre.
The Queen and Prince Philip are expected to arrive in Sydney on March 12 and spend the next day in the city before leaving for Melbourne to open the Commonwealth Games on March 15.
Security forces will also be on full alert as protesters are planning demonstrations against Mr Blair over his support for the war in Iraq.
