Series to prepare India and Pakistan teams for Games
Arch rivals and Asian hockey giants India and Pakistan will once again cross swords in the six-match home-and-away hockey series from February 17 to 26.
The current series which will be the eighth one between the two will provide an opportunity for both countries to warm-up for the Commonwealth Games to be held in Melbourne in Australia from March 15 to 26 and other forthcoming important international assignments this year.
Both countries have so far played 46 matches in seven Indo-Pak series. Pakistan have won 22 matches and India 15 while nine matches ended in draw.
