Police Arrest Man Allegedly Using Coma Patient’s Credit Card
‘Police said they have arrested a man who’s been using the credit card of a comatose patient.
Violinist Arthur Weinberg was found unconscious near the corner of East Fifth Street and Washington Avenue, just blocks from his home, on Christmas Eve.
He’s been in critical condition at University Hospital ever since, and police said they don’t know if he had been beaten or hit by a car.
“To me he’s such a laid back easy going guy,” fellow musician Tom Consolo said. “I would think anyone who would do this to him was looking for trouble, because I can’t see him picking a fight.”‘
