Depression Device Test to Stop

‘Cyberonics said Wednesday the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the device maker’s request to shut down investigational testing of its electrostimulation device to treat depression.

Biovail depression drug okayed

‘Biovail Corp. has won Canadian approval for the use of once-daily tablets of Wellbutrin XL to treat major depression in adults.
Therapeutic Products Directorate Canada issued a notice of compliance for 150-milligram and 300-milligram tablet strengths of Wellbutrin XL, an extended-release formulation of bupropion hydrochloride.’
