Help someone overcome holiday depression
‘The Christmas holidays are a wonderful time of the year to enjoy family and friends. It is a time to share and give to others. Although the celebration of Christmas is quite different for different groups of people, it is still a special time of the year to be with loved ones.
It is also a difficult time for many people in our community who may be struggling to overcome depression, which is a serious issue throughout our nation as well.
According to the National Institute of Mental Health, 19 million adults in the United States suffer from depression or “mood disorders.”
