Lundbeck says Lexapro depression treatment better tolerated than Cymbalta
‘H Lundbeck AS said its US partner, Forest Laboratories Inc today announced the results of a new head-to-head study of Lundbeck’s depression treatment, Lexapro/Cipralex (escitalopram oxalate), against Cymbalta (duloxetine), a depression treatment made by Eli Lilly and Co.
In the study, Lexapro/Cipralex showed a greater reduction in depression rating scale scores and was better tolerated than Cymbalta in the treatment of depression, it said.’
