MSIâ„¢ launches its New Media Center PC -LR PC with AMD Solution - MSI Living Room (LR) PC
MSI Living Room (LR) PC is the latest addition to MSI’s Media Center PC family. It is the first Media Center PC with AMD official certification. MSI will showcase its outstanding R&D competence in the Media Center PC field at the 2006 CES in Las Vegas on January 5-8, 2006.
AMD 64-bit Computing Power
Microsoft launches Windows XP® Professional x64 Edition and AMD Athlon™ 64 Processor Compatible - Providing high performance for both 32-bit and 64-bit applications. The AMD Athlon 64/Athlon 64 FX processor allows you to do what you want on your computer. Whether it’s watching videos, ripping and playing music, or playing games, with AMD64 performance, you can fully enjoy any multimedia experience with a “you are there� reality.
Superior Graphics Performance
The nVIDIA integrated graphics supports DirectX 9.0 which allows the MSI LR PC to work well
without the need for add-on VGA card when playing 3D games. Besides, it also supports PCI-Express x16 so that you can easily upgrade graphics performance by installing high-end VGA card.
Better Sound Effect
MSI LR PC makes watching DVD a real enjoyment with the 7.1-channel High Definition Audio. You can experience high-level sound effect in some DVD movies. Accompany it with an LCD monitor or Plasma TV; the visual experience would be close to being in a movie theater.
Integrated 802.11g WLAN
MSI LR PC is equipped with 802.11g WLAN which offers wireless transmission over relatively short distances up to 54Mbps. That is almost five times the speed of existing 802.11b wireless products and at the same time ideal
for audio, video, and multimedia applications. The 11g WLAN is compatible with 11b products, so both 11b and 11g clients can reside on the same network. This flexibility preserves your network investment and allows you to upgrade or scale your network according to your budget and time frame.
