MSN Messenger Adds Text Ads

BigBlueBall report that MSN have started to insert text ads into MSN Messenger:

‘Microsoft has quietly slipped in text ads into MSN Messenger’s IM interface. When you open a conversation window with someone, you may notice them at the bottom of your chat window.’

I’m surprised this has gone so unnoticed.
