Microsoft to offer VOIP services with Japanese partners

‘Microsoft Corp. has struck a deal with Softbank BB Corp. and Japan Telecom Co. Ltd. to deliver more secure, integrated voice, e-mail, instant messaging and groupware services for the companies’ customers in Japan, the three announced Wednesday.

PeerMe Voice over Internet Protocol service in India

‘US based PeerMe Inc today launched its Internet voice communication systems in India which the company said would be free and unlimited.
The company’s peer-to-peer voice system provides sound quality almost equal to Public Switched Telephone Network, free and unlimited to any Internet-connected PC user worldwide, PeerMe Director Shailendra Kumar said in a release.’
