‘CipherTrust, which develops messaging security solutions, is rolling out applications covering instant messaging.

Its IronIM solution establishes CipherTrust as the first vendor to offer gateway security appliances for both e-mail and instant message communications, the company said.

The application is designed to give administrators increased control from a single platform to block instant messaging threats and to help ensure compliance with corporate policies as well as industry and government regulations. ‘
