gAIM 1.3.0
Messenger Blog writes that gAIM have updated to 1.3.0:
‘gAIM has just released a new version of it’s popular IM client, which addresses 2 security issues. The first is a problem with MSN Messenger. A user could send a specially crafted P2P message causing gAIM to read from a null pointer (could be used for other exploits) and crash. The second is an exploit with all IM networks that allow big messages; sending an URL up to 8KB in size which in turn causes a buffer overflow….’
