Arieanna over at Get Real reviews icq 5 and writes - ‘At first impression, I was rather annoyed by the startup. Like most IMs, the “standard” start is the “Welcome” Window. Although nicely designed, it’s not something I like. Besides, as I soon found out, all those resources can be found in the Xtras tab. I thought the feature set was quite impressive - the multi-chat, bulk sending, Google search, AIM integration, and greeting card features were personally inviting. The customization area was accessible - granted, the “ease” of changing the features is a trade off with the time it takes to load the feature window….’
