Jessica Simpson is hoping to adopt a baby after her first attempt to become a young mother was dashed when she learned she couldn’t take a child out of Mexico. The pretty blonde, 25, was just 16 when she visited a Mexican orphanage on a vacation and she desperately wanted to become a teenage mum. Simpson reveals: “That’s what I wanted for my birthday but I couldn’t legally get a baby across the Mexican border. “I’ll end up doing something which will touch somebody in some way that’s good… through orphanages.”

Apparently, Jessica Simpson has given her dad a £1,400 voucher for a course of Botox injections for Father’s Day. A source said: “She wanted her debonair daddy to look his best.”

“Basically, they trashed our show. It’s one thing to do whatever movie they want to do, but to take a classic family show and do that is like taking “I Love Lucy” and making her a crackhead or something. [The movie contained] constant sexual innuendo and some very clear sexual situations. From all I have seen and heard, the “Dukes” movie is a sleazy insult to all of us who have cared about the “Dukes of Hazzard” for so long. Unless they clean it up before the August 5th release date I would strongly recommend that true blue Dukes fans hold their noses and pass this one up.”

The couple seemed anything but loving at Simpson’s 25th-birthday bash in LA over the weekend, the New York Daily News reports.
According to the tab’s spy, the couple arrived separately, didn’t speak to one another and, during the pivotal blowing-out-of-candles denouement, Lachey preferred hanging out with his pals to being with the birthday girl.
The spy says the hooch supply was inadequate and sober attendees left to quench their thirst.

JOHNNY KNOXVILLE’s wife is furious about rumours the actor had an affair with his DUKES OF HAZZARD co-star JESSICA SIMPSON.
The former JACKASS funnyman was reported to have romanced the reality TV beauty on the set of the movie remake - despite the fact he’s married to MELANIE CLAPP and Simpson’s married to former boyband star, NICK LACHEY.
And Knoxville - real name PHILLIP CLAPP - admits the tales have had an affect on his marriage.
He tells the New York Daily News, “I guess I’d have to say she’s standing over me right now. No knife. But she does wield a mean pepper spray.”

Finally the video aired in New Zealand last night - making its debut on C4 television. The feedback so far is that people don’t really like the song but think Jessica is totally hot in the video. Country music isn’t big here in New Zealand, so that’s probably partly why the song isn’t loved (yet). There’s lots of talk about the movie already, even though it’s probably not out here until September.
