It’s night time at the Simpsons’ house and Jessica and Nick has a couple of friends over.
Jessica: “I have to go to the dentist I have like pounding headaches.”
Female Friend: “That’s retarded, go to the dentist.”
Jessica: “I know. I had six cavities before we got married and I still haven’t got them filled.”
Female Friend: “Jessica! Oh my god.”
Jessica: “I just get cavaties really easy.”
Nick: “You know what a root canal is right?”
Female Friend: “You freak!”
Jessica: “It’s in the root.”
Nick: “It’s torture. It starts out as a regular cavity but if you don’t get it taken care of it gets deeper and deeper and deeper.”
Jessica: “Yeah I know, I’ve waited for three years before”, crossing her arms tighter. “I hate teeth.”
Everyone laughs and the male friend says he hates teeth too.
Nick: “I’m with ya, I hate taking care of teeth too.”
Jessica: “I hate brushing them, I hate taking care of them. I hate going to the dentist.”
Female Friend: “Do you floss?”
Jessica: “No.”
There’s more laughter.

This will be up as soon after the show as possible. It takes quite a bit of time for me to do, so please help spread the word and tell your friends that I’m transcribing the episode. Oh, and leave me a comment too
“Jessica’s and Ashlee’s reality series returned to MTV Wednesday with slight 3% gains from their previous season premieres last June. Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica averaged 3.2 million viewers, while The Ashlee Simpson Show hit 2.7 million.”

Episode 2: Jessica gets a root canal, meets Ray Crone (Extreme Makeover) and celebrates Halloween.
Episode 3: Nick and Jessica spend quality time together before heading their separate ways: Nick to NY and Jessica to Baton Rouge where she begins filming The Dukes of Hazzard.

The show starts off with Nick and Jessica all dressed up talking in their chauffeured car:
Nick: “Well, our two year anniversary - an awesome second year.”
Jessica: “It was a better second year than first year. What did we get each other last year?”
Nick: “Um, I can’t rememeber.”
Jessica: “I can’t either.”
I think that the chauffeur says something about what Jessica gave Nick for a present and then Nick swears.
Jessica: “Nick, you are.”
Nick: “You are by far.”
Jessica: “I am the easiest. Ow.”
Nick: “You have to go and spend a freaking fortune everytime.”
Jessica: “No, that is not true!”
Nick: “I’ll buy you another piece of jewelry that I’ll see for a month then I’ll never see again.”
Jessica: “That’s not true.”
Nick: “Like the heart pendant.”
Jessica: “I knew you were going to bring that up.”
Nick: “Where is it?”
Jessica: “I love that.”
Nick: “Do you know where it is?”
Jessica: “Yes I do too.”
Nick: “Probably lost it.”
Jessica: “No it’s in my safe. I think.”
Nick: “Your safe?”
Jessica: “Whatever it is, that jewelry thing.”
Nick: “Your drawer?”
Jessica: “My drawer.”
Nick: “Tennis bracelet?”
Jessica: “It’s in my jewelry drawer.”
Nick: “I’d know, that’s what I’m saying. It never leaves the drawer.”
Jessica: “I wore it last night.”
Nick: “You did not.”
Jessica: “I love that bracelet.”
Nick: “You are a complete ****en liar, you just sat there bull****ing. Unbelievable.”
Jessica looks at her arm: “I’m so pale.”
Nick: “Nice topic change. Never good enough.”
Jessica: “What you’re saying doesn’t always have to be diamonds and all kinds of stuff.”
Nick: “It doesn’t?”
Jessica: “No! Ew. Who do you think I am?”
Nick: “The way to ensure myself I get burned it not to give anything at all.”
Jessica: “Ooh I just had an idea, I know what I’m getting you.”

Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey are putting a severe strain on the term “newlyweds.”
The couple, who married two years ago, will return Jan. 26 for the third season of their MTV reality show, featuring the difficulties of being a (relatively) recently married couple. Following sister Jessica, Ashlee Simpson also will return for a second run of “The Ashlee Simpson Show.”
In the 10 new episodes of “Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica,” the adventures of the Simpson-Lachey family include housebreaking their new dog, Daisy, and Jessica’s preparations for her role as Daisy Duke in an upcoming movie adaptation of “The Dukes of Hazzard.”
New installments of “The Ashlee Simpson Show,” also premiering Jan. 26, will “document Ashlee as she skyrockets to the top of the music industry and is then forced to face the other side of fame, including intense press scrutiny and live performance mishaps,” said Lois Curren, the executive vice president of MTV series entertainment, in a statement.

MTV will add a third show documenting the lives of the extended Simpson clan, giving Nick Lachey his own reality show documenting the making of his new album and remaking of his flagging career.
“The Nick Lachey Show,” set to premiere in April, will coexist with new seasons of “Newlyweds,” which follows Lachey and his wife, Jessica Simpson, and “The Ashlee Simpson Show,” which follows Jessica’s sister. At a news conference, Lachey pointed out that at family gatherings, the Simpsons could be followed by three separate MTV camera crews.
Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey presented the PCA for Favorite TV Comedy to Will & Grace.
Josh Duhamel presented Favorite reality show (other) to Newlyweds. Jessica said, “I was a cheesy pop star. Nick was in a boy band. We weren’t supposed to get married because it would ruin our careers. And now here we are.”

Pop star Jessica Simpson and husband Nick Lachey, fronting the vocal foursome 98°, were announced the winners for favorite reality-based program - 24/7 for Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica at the 31st Annual People’s Choice Awards held at the Pasadena Civic Center in California on January 9.
In her interview to TV entertainment show Access Hollywood, Simpson expressed her sympathy to Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, who have recently announced their split. “Any marriage is tough,” she said. “You go through struggles and it’s work. You have to make it happen.”
“I think they probably issued a statement because they thought they owed it to their fans,” AP reported Simpson’s admiration for the way Pitt and Aniston dealt with their breakup. “There are people who are fans of them together, and it’s good to hear from the person and not believe the lies.”
In November, Simpson, whose two-year-marriage has been surrounded by media speculation and gossiping, denied rumors about her rocky relationships with Lachey. “Our relationship is better than it’s ever been. We are absolutely not breaking up,” she told People magazine.
