Dukes of Hazzard Soundtrack Review
The album will be released on July 19th by Columbia and features the hit “These Boots are Made for Walkin’” by Jessica Simpson - with the controversial video of her washing a car in a bikini. You can hear a sample of the song and the video clip on her official website.
The soundtrack opens and closes with a joke from Uncle Jesse (Willie Nelson). In between are a collection of southern/blues rock songs, including Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble’s “Pride and Joy,” the James Gang’s “Funk #49,” Molly Hatchet’s “Flirtin’ With Disaster” and a live version of the Allman Brothers Band’s “One Way Out.”
Willie Nelson has recorded a new version of “Good Ol’ Boys,” the theme song for the “Dukes of Hazzard” TV show.
Simpson stars in “The Dukes of Hazzard” as Daisy Duke, cousin to Bo (Seann William Scott) and Luke (Johnny Knoxville). Burt Reynolds stars as Boss Hogg. The film opens Aug. 5 in the U.S.

Oh my GOD! Can Jessica Simpson just fall off the face of the earth already??? She’s a DUMB self proclaimed “CHRISTIAN” who prides herself in being a AIRHEAD! My condolences to the casting director what a mistake he made lol!

Yes, the version of Black Betty they use in the trailer is by Spiderbait, NOT Ram Jam. It sucks how they didn’t put that version in the soundtrack. Spiderbait are a great Aussie band, and they deserve some recognition.
Oh, and Jessica Simpson sucks as much as her fake of a sister.
