Jessica Simpson’s new divorced image causes concern
The California based Christian group ‘The Resistance’ which received international attention for criticizing Jessica Simpson’s slutty music video ‘These Boots are Made for Walking’ preceding the release of the Dukes of Hazard are now concerned about Simpson’s new image as a divorced party girl, her hooking up with P. Diddy, and the effects on impressionable young fans.
“It would be really sad to see Jessica turn into someone like Paris Hilton or Pamela Anderson� explains John Conner. “It’s just tragic to see her go from a perfect marriage in MTV’s Newlyweds just a few years ago, to a party animal hanging out with Jackass Johnny Knoxville and Satanist Bam Margera.
Once a wholesome role model in a sex saturated culture, and a shining jewel of beauty and abstinence, Simpson has now jointed the ranks of the singing strippers such as Brittany Spears and Christiana Aguilera on MTV and in pop culture.
“Her husband seemed like a pretty normal guy, and I’m afraid Jessica’s going to hook up with someone like P. Diddy, or Tommy Lee� laments Conner.
All this news comes on the heels of the DVD release of the Dukes of Hazard uncensored version, which includes gratuitous nudity, now sealing Simpson as an actress in a skin flick.
Conner’s advice to Simpson is simple. “The Devil has you in his grip, Jessica, and the decisions you make now, will affect millions of fans around the world in how they mimic and follow you. I hope and pray that Jessica doesn‘t flush her career down the toilet by doing a movie like Showgirls 2 or putting out anymore slutty music videos�
‘The Resistance’ is an international association of Christians and has been critical of MTV in the past particularly for celebrating the homosexual agenda. The Resistance is dedicated to resisting the erosion of morals in America and in the media. The group’s website is TheResistanceManifesto.com.

1. They can’t spell Britney Spears.
2. They imply she’s hooked up with P. Diddy in the opening paragraph, even though it says “they’re concerned that…” it leads you to believe something’s gone on.
3. They blatantly say Bam is a satanist - has he in fact, said/confirmed he is one? Otherwise, that’s slander.
4. There’s no such thing as a “perfect marriage”. Every relationship requires work.

The only thing that I agree The Resissytance (note the play on words) with is that I also did not like the These Boots Were Made for Walking video. But not for the same reasons. I think that Jessica Simpson killed a great song especially by putting in seweeee! The whole washing the car bit was unoriginal and was a cop out to the Paris Hilton commerical for hamburgers. Please Pop Hollywood, do something original for once and think outside of the box! I know now that originality and Hollywood is an oxymoron like Jessica Simpson.

NOw that she has had sex for the first time, she wants to experience more. Her dad probably thinks that Nick is holding her back. I totally agree with this article and would like to tell Jessica to grow up and become an idependent adult who doesn’t need her daddy to make her decisions for her

So everything you hear and see on t.v. is the truth? It can’t be edited, deleted, added to, or otherwise skewed. People don’t lie on t.v.?
Wow, that’s news to me.
Sometimes people really should get a clue and listen to themselves before they speak (or type).
What Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey do are their own business. We can guess, we can speculate, we can judge - but it won’t change the fact.
Is the article slander? Possibly. Is the article credible? Not really.
It’s one group’s opinion of someone else’s life and what is gone wrong.

wow. i am so sick and tired of christian rights bullcrap. jesus effing christ. there is no devil’s death grip. who cares about their concern!? religion has nothing to do with our intended secular society. keep your religion to your damned self before you go damning everyone else. realize that waiting till marraige obviously isn’t always best. realize that your damn religion doesn’t apply to everyone, and if you think jessica simpson is going to hell for using what she’s got (though i honestly detest her singing voice) then so be it. she’s still getting paid more than you.
