Jessica Simpson in Dallas?
Jessica’s hoping to land another movie role (even if it’s not likely) - this time as Pam, the wife of Bobby in the remake of Dallas! More than that, her dream star to play Bobby opposite her would be none other than Mr Brad Pitt! Mmmm, I’d go see that movie!!!
John Travolta is the favorite to take on the role of J.R. Ewing, but both Mel Gibson and Kevin Costner are also in the running.
Meanwhile, the identity of the actress to portray Sue Ellen is also uncertain. Catherine Zeta-Jones is looking likely, although there are also the possibilities of Demi Moore and Jennifer Lopez stepping in.
Drew Barrymore and Reese Witherspoon are the probable options for the role of Pamela, (Jess is probably way too young for the role) Jessica will likely get to battle Lindsay Lohan, and Mandy Moore to play Lucy.
Finally, Matthew McConaughey and Owen Wilson are being rumored as in line to play Bobby Ewing.
Casting is not expected to be officially announced until a rewrite of the script has been completed.
