Jessica Simpson to perform on People’s Choice Awards!
Jessica Simpson will be singing “These Boots are made for Walkin’” at the People’s Choice Awards on January 10th - and she’s also nominated for favourite movie song. Watch her on CBS.
“Jessica’s true vocal talent, unlimited energy and undeniable charisma will truly be a great addition to this year’s show,” said executive producer Carol Donovan.

JESSICA’S REMAKE OF A CLASSIC IS HORRIFIC!! SHE SOUNDS TERRIBLE AND LOOKS EVEN WORSE IN THE VIDEO. I CAN’T BELIEVE SHE WAS ALLOWED TO DISTORT SUCH A GREAT SONG. IN THE START OF JESSICA’S MUSIC CAREER, SHE SOUNDED GREAT, LOOKED FABULOUS AND WAS NOT COMMERCIALLY INFLUENCED. NOW SHE LOOKS LIKE TRASH, TRIES TO IMPRESS PEOPLE WITH HER BOOBS AND APPEARS TO BE HAVING A SEIZURE WHEN SHE PERFORMS. I HAVE TO WONDER IF ANY ONE HAS EVER TOLD HER HOW STUPID SHE LOOKS WHEN SHE SINGS LIVE!!

I agree with Pootie. Jessica does look goofy when she sings live. It looks like she’s in pain or something. I can hardly stand to watch her perform live…it’s too excruciating. She should not have tried to revamp a well-known classic song like “Boots”, either. It sounds trashy, I guess to match her new image…???

I feel terrible that I agree. I am a fan of “the old Jessica” if that makes any sense. Her performances, both on her CDs and live, used to be really great. I can’t believe I am agreeing, but her live singing has gotten really bad, alomst like she is having an orgasm or a seizure on stage. My prayers are with her because we all know there is a very talented person hiding behind all these changes.

kevin…the last minute and a half of ‘boots’ is a take off of paris hiltons car wash scene for that burger joint (carl jr. i think). Nothing about jessica is original anymore. Sure, she’s beautiful, but why would would any woman want to strive to look like her when the person she has become is someone who stives to mold herself into everyone else?

I am also a fan of the old Jessica. I’ve been a fan for 7 years. She’s changed. I thought she was diffrent. I understand she has grown from a girl to a women, but, i never thought she would have lost sight of herself. Now, she is just like almost everyone else in Hollywood. I wish her luck.

so, what gives you the right to think that you can make a comment about what i SHOULD do with my life (such as starving myself to get men that i will only have meaningless relationships with…) but yet, i cannot point out an OBVIOUS fact about her. (you consider this ‘judging’)sorry, unlike jessica, i still have morals and i value true relationships. I can comment about her because this is place to do so.

If all of you looked half as good as she does you would all dress the same way she does. I feel a bit of jealousy going on. Jessica is going through a really hard time right now so she probably acts this way now to make her feel better about herself. Feeling good about yourself and having confidence is what makes a person beautiful.

Jessica’s always been trying hard to be like Britney and Xtina. Don’t get me wrong, she’s hot, but that’s not enough to make up for everything else. She claims that she’s different. Jessica dressed fabuosly and i model my fashion choses after her. I think her performance was amazing. and i know y’all don’t have all the glitzz and glamour like she does, but don’t be jealous. she is alot better then britney and Christina!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am still a HUGE! jess fan and if you don;t like her then like someone else, but you don’t have to trash talk her and run her down!! And she sings BeautifullY amd i think the way she performs is awsome!
