Nick and Jessica meet up
In what was likely their first meeting since Dec. 15, the pair reunited Jan. 4, when Nick showed up at the Valley Inn Restaurant & Bar in Sherman Oaks, Calif., where Jessica had been enjoying a quiet dinner with her sister Ashlee, dad, Joe, and mom, Tina. “Nick slid into the booth next to Jessica and gave her a big hug and a kiss,” says the source. “It was obvious they hadn’t seen each other for a while. He was dreamy-eyed looking at her. Jessica seemed guarded at first but loosened up as the visit progressed.”
It turns out business-minded Joe set up the meeting! Sources close to the Simpson family say the elder Simpson’s office has been inundated with fan e-mails and letters pleading with the kaput couple to get back together. “Joe’s shocked at how many people want to see Nick and Jess together again,” says a Simpson insider. “He’s worried that Jessica’s fans will desert her because they blame her for the breakup.”

That’s so sad… They still in love… Love is not an easy game to play…I hope they work things out… They filled the divorce papers already, but its never late when the thing its about the person that you love more than anything in the world, i think that Jess STILL loves Nick with all her heart and soul…FOREVER AND EVER!

omg……seriously….what joe would do to keep the money rollin into his pockets…he planned the visit because her fans were so unhappy??? shouldn’t NICK AND JESS be planning when they see each other? excuse my very foul langauge…joe is one sick mo-fo…and jess doesnt even live in this world independantly…her life would shatter without daddy tellin her what to do and when to do it. POOR NICK…..of course i want to see them back together again….but anyone who says that there is nothing wrong with this family is blind and arrogant….its almost sick…

Jessica needs to get off of dad’s d**k and spend more time with her husband. It’s strange that you see her father more than you see her own husband with her. Too weird…. Your an adult now and your father needs to back off Nick is the best thing that could’ve happened to you. Just remember your vows you took Jess that should straighten everything out. Have you father explain the part in the bible that tells you that you and your husband are one and you two are supposed to make decisions together about your lives.. third party is not a good idea!!!!!

I think EVERYONE should leave this couple alone. If any one of you are mature or have ever been in a relationship, you would know that the only two who know what’s really going on, is Jessica and Nick. We have NO right to assume or judge. And as for Jessica’s father, yes, he has issues, but that doesn’t mean Jessica is going to love him any less, that IS her dad. So everyone, let’s move on….

I hate her dad soo much, he is supposed to be a “man of god” ha my fat ass he is! he is a selfish old bastard that is living through ashlee and jessica. and in my opinion I think that nick just wanted to marry her to get into her pants cuz she was a virgin and shes hot and stuff… like any other guy… nicks good looks does not make up for him being talentless, he is where he belongs in a shit whole with that other talentless B vannessa whatever her name is. from “trl” and I agree with most of you jessica does need to stop getting ordered around by that douche. and find herself a way better stronger person. if Jen aniston found someone with a better personality and looks like is more down to earth and is not consumed by ones self. then Jessica Simpson can sure as hell find someone too… lets face it nick just wanted a taste of the ice cream he didnt want to buy the whole box and eat that forever….
