Nick Lachey and CaCee Cobb Rumours
National Ledger says that in the new Star magazine there’s an article about Cacee and Nick Lachey as a possible couple. Their website is down right now for me but it seems to be a rehash of old rumours that surfaced when photos were published of Nick and Cacee looking like they were flirting together in a pool a couple of years ago.
The new fuel for these rumours? CaCee has resigned her position as Jessica’s personal assistant and finished up on May 7th. Star magazine apparently says she quit because she couldn’t turn her back on Nick. And furthermore, Nick and CaCee went out clubbing together on May 1st.
Personally, I think it’s an unfounded rumour at this point. Imagine being close friends with a couple and working for one. When they break up, you’re stuck in the middle and your business dealings and personal life suddenly get all messy. It can be easier to get out before things got nasty.

I also think it’s unfounded about Nick and CaCee. CaCee was supposed to be Jessica’s childhood friend from Texas, I can’t believe that CaCee after making tons and tons of money plus a Mercedes, a new home, etc. off of her meal-ticket Jessica, that she would dump all that for her so-called friendship with Nick. Even if Nick did like CaCee (or vice versa) more than just a friend, it would be suicide to his career and to his ‘good guy’image. Nick is smarter than that!!!!! (I hope)
My opinion is that CaCee is so sick of ‘little miss diva’! ! ! And other people are offering her the world BUT CaCee is not talented or smart and would probably get chewed up,(and deservingly so) and now everyone knows she’s not LOYAL!!!!!!
I could be way off base but those are my thoughts, thanks for listening (reading)….

after reading about the whole clubbing incedent i wouldn’t count it out… from what i read they were all over each other in the club, she was sitting in his lap, etc…
maybe nick is doing it to make jessica mad, i dont know, sure it would affect his good guy image, but lots of typical men would do that.

For all we know Nick and Cacee could have been hanging out because she can play “middle man” by helping Nick get Jessica back. we should go a little easier on Cacee anyway. Do people really expect her to ride Jessica’s coat tails? Should she be Jessica’s assistant forever?

Just wondering what everyone’s feelings are about Jessica’s hairstylist, Ken Paves. I know I have commented about him in the past….but I even now I keep seeing pics of him being with her on her various trips, and sometimes I wonder if he is a reason she split with Nick. I just can’t imagine your hairstylist going everywhere with you….seems fishy….

My comment on JS today is -last night on (Ryan Seacrest) entertainment show Jessica showed up backstage for her sister’s opening night in LA… Well, besides the fact their fat abnoxious father, Pimp Joe, was gawking and talking about Ashlee with her sexy fishnets stockings, Jessica herself looked and spoke like a complete imbecile (idiot)! ! ! She made so sense, had no answers, talked like a fool..etc… I had to watch the interview over again (on demand) just to make sure it was the real Jessica (you know how they lie!!!). Believe it or not the only one that was alittle credible was Mama Tina. These people are in a different world…
Nick is blessed to be out of that dysfunctional family!!!!

well about Jessica’s hairstylist coming between them, if I remember correctly from Newlyweds, Nick looked like he was so irritated when Jessica had her little hissy fit because he wasn’t going to be able to do her hair before a performance, and she started crying, going around the town trying to find ways to do her hair, he was also one of them staying in the house with her and cacee when she was filming dukes of hazzard…
I don’t know about him having anything to do with them breaking up first-handedly, but that probably added to the list of things, Jessica acting like she couldn’t do anything herself, she couldn’t clean house, she couldn’t do anything without mommy and daddy’s consent, she couldn’t go on stage without her hair being done by her stylist, and Nick was just more down to earth and probably thought she was even more attractive in her sweats and one of his baseball caps, and other things probably just added to that. Just my opinion.

but I never thought about it until now… remember all Jessica’s family was back at the house they was staying in, Nick and Joe came in and Joe walked out onto the patio and some of the girls was out there topless… correct me if I’m wrong but Ken wasn’t on the golf cart, so he must have been back at the house (with a bunch of topless girls), he has to be gay for the girls to be that comfortable around him, and it not be there boyfriends or husbands!! kimberly, that was a diff trip. The one where ken played golf was in cabo and the one where they were all topless was when her family rented a house for easter or something in palm springs. And guys, Ken is gay! His “partner” is the guys that was playing scategories with cacee, jess, and ken when they rented that house in miami for new years in the final season. I just read also an article about ken in people where he was talking about his “partner.” Anyway, it seems like that is the only type of guy that can put up with her these days

I’m with Team Lachey all the way. Nick wanted to work things out, but Jessica didn’t even care to work out their marriage. He was so good to her. I know he went out with his friends but come on everyone needs their space. I can’t believe that Jessica told Nick after having dinner with friends that she wanted a divorce. I think she used him. She didn’t sign a prenump because daddy Joe didn’t want to. What were her intentions…… She just wanted to become famous. Although she isn’t that popular now. I think she got some plastic surgery done. I use to like her but I completely see her different now. Whatever happened to making a pact with God about marriage. I think Vanessa is adorable and has a cute personality. Nick should date her… I know after so many years that have gone by that Jessica will regret it 100% and Nick will be happy with this new wife and children. Whatever goes around comes around…. KARMA

Hello everyone, I just came online to post that I listened to Jessica’s new song (www.jessicasimpson.com). It’s really bad. It sounds like an 11 year old wrote it. It does have a similar sound to Madonna’s “Holiday”…but the sampling does not bother me as much as the “cheap” sound the song has. I hope Rachel posts news about her new song and we can all give our opinions.
Personally, I was hoping for some good music. Sadly disappointed!

Well, swiss chick, Jessica was a ‘no-show’ this morning on Q102 (Phila) and the disc jockey - Booker & friends - already started trashing her because Jessica’s publicist stated she was stuck on an airplane somewhere and would definitely call tomorrow morning (they promised)….Booker said he wasn’t allowed to ask anything about Nick, anyone or anything to do with Nick, etc. etc…. Believe me those disc jockeys made allot of fun of Jessica and when they were done they played Nick’s song with reverence!!! It was hysterical.. Oh, by the way she’s only doing a call in….

One of the Q102 disc jockeys emailed me on Friday when I first heard ‘Public Affair’ and I asked which song does this remind me of - the exact words in the email was:
“HOLIDAY BY MADONNA. IT’S A BLATANT RIP OFF”
Those same disc jockeys wimped out - I’m disappointed with that portion.
Otherwise- except for Jessica saying she still loves Nick and will always love Nick (blatant lie) I enjoyed the interview…. She was her cutesy little self….

Thanks for the update Princy! I can totally imagine her trying to sound so cutesy that she overdoes it with her little giggles and stuff. It’s definitely a BLatant rip off!! I’ve never really been into madonna’s stuff but when the first 3 notes played, that was the first thing i thought. And she said it hurt her feelings about the tshirts?? That’s kinda funny. But what does she expect? All of her fans feel like they were duped! She has changed SOOO much since the first season of newlyweds that she is now a faint shimmer of her old self!

1.5 million is just so greedy from their side. HE deserves HALF…by law even. But he literally was half of the Newlyweds. All of her fame launched from there, AND he made appearences with her in ads for her body crap and always supported her. Plus, they were touring together during the show. I have always felt Nick deserved 1/2 of their assets/money not only because their show is what launched Jessica into superfame…but also because while she was out doing this or that, he was taking care of important home matters, making sure the bills are paid, organizing their home, improving their home, etc. Plus, he did do interviews, tv show appearances and more! Did anyone know he helped do her vocal arrangements in her “in this skin” album? She said it in an interview a couple of years ago…saying that Nick does a lot of the work in making it good but doesn’t get any of the credit!
Swiss Chick, you make an excellent point in why he also deserves 1/2….that Dessert Beauty sold MILLIONS!!!!! It’s true that he did advertising with her! I’m sure they realized that it would sell more if Jessica appeared with a love interest in the ads — that’s half the point in buying Dessert Beauty in the first place….to have someone taste you!

I know it seems weird because Jessica just started making the big bucks, but she really is one of Hollywood’s big earners!!!! Dessert Beauty is a big part of that it isn’t an extra things stars do to make another million (probably started out that way,though) , but it really is an empire thats making ALOT of money!! Nick did ads for her and is mentioned as her inspiration, In this Skin-inspiration, helped in the studio, appeared in music video,book-she talked about her wedding to him, newlyweds- 1/2 of them and that is where her fame started!!!! The only thing she did by her self when she was married was the Dukes of hazzard (not the best in my opinion)!!!!!

I read that Vanessa said that too! I just watched on Mtv the “behind the Video” with nick and vanessa, and she was cute. She was totally flirting with him the entire time. And there was another special on with Nick called, “What’s Left of Me,” and it was sooo sad. Poor NIck. I just hope he finds a girl who loves him and is more interested in their marriage and family than in fame and fortune. He deserves that. Look how normal Drew and Leah are. That is what he wants to have. Jessica could never have given him that type of life.
