Simpson fires back at Christian critics
Jessica Simpson has fired back at Christian critics who have blasted her raunchy new video “These boots are made for walking” for being too sexy, insisting they should be more accepting.
Jessica Simpson said “It didn’t really surprise me because I grew up with a lot of that backlash. That’s why I didn’t end up going into the Christian music industry. I think that if they’re really good Christians the judgment wouldn’t be there.”

I think Jessica is so hot in her new video. I’m a prechers granddaughter and I would have done that video in a heart beat. Look how hard she worked to get her body that great lookin. She should be priased. So Jessica, you look great and don’t listen to the christian groups. Your look is HOT!

“if they were really good Christians the judgement wouldn’t be there”
That doesn’t make sense to me… Is she saying no one can have an opinion about her or just Christians…
Putting that statement aside, I think she’s adorable….

come on, she’s been married for three years! i mean all we hear about in the tabloids is how she and her husband are growing apart. possibly because by the time you’re mature enough to get married, being a sex symbol shouldn’t be part of the plan. She was so outspoken about being a virgin until she got married, and yet now she’s acting like a wannabe britney spears. its not respectable, its trashy.

I think Jess is an inspiration.
For those who blast her because of her video, remember she is in character. She’s Daisy. To compare her to Britney is not correct…Britney is only performing as Britney.
just so you know!

The music video is amazing, and I don’t know what everyone is complaining about from it. She’s a celebrity, of course she’s going to have to show some skin. It doesn’t mean she wants to, but she’s in the spotlight. Besides, she worked hard on that music video, and getting in shape for her movie. She deserves to show her hard work off. Brittany Spears would have, no problem.

Jessica is a nice human, a “descent” singer (compare with others) but a terrible christian what a testimony!!! Is her life for the glory of God? So she is pretty she is sexy… now when she uses tiny shorts or sexy clothes, other men are gonna lust her… and what is that.. sin.. men are guilty, she is guilty…

I think that everyone has a right to make their own decisions… HOWEVER, as a Christian she should embrace her religion and follow it gracefully. Her behavior is hypocritical and to me she is NOT an inspiration. She was an inspiration to me when she showed off her immaculate voice and natural beauty. I’ve lost a lot of respect since she married Nick and showed off her ditsy side “Chicken or tuna?” And ESPECIALLY since she decided to show all that she’s got in the video. I understand that she has a nice body, but as a Christian, she is supposed to treat her body as something sacred- not something that men will lust after once they see it all lubed up in a video. And a fight for fame is no excuse for showing skin- I respect the celebs that make it on their TALENT not by showcasing their sexuality!!!
