PC Magazine reviews the Lenovo ThinkPad T60 and writes - ‘For years, the Lenovo (formerly IBM) ThinkPad T series has been racking up our Editors’ Choice awards for business notebooks—and this year is no different. The ThinkPad T60 is Lenovo’s newest corporate dream machine. Not only has the addition of the latest Intel Core Duo technology increased the performance monumentally, but Lenovo integrates 3G wireless with Verizon’s EV-DO, so now you can get broadband access almost anywhere at any time you want.’

CNET reviews the Lenovo ThinkPad T60 where they write - ‘The first new iteration of the ThinkPad T series since Lenovo bought the ThinkPad business from IBM, the ThinkPad T60 retains its trademark design but adds in the latest components, including Intel’s Core Duo chipset and a handful of new features. Unlike its more consumer-focused thin-and-light counterpart, the wide-screen ThinkPad Z60t, the ThinkPad T60 is built for large-enterprise business customers, incorporating a deep supply of connectivity features but few multimedia extras. With a starting price of $1,700, the ThinkPad T60 is considerably more expensive out of the gate than competing models, such as the Dell Latitude D610 and the HP Compaq nc6140, but offers a sturdier design and superior configuration options (Dell and HP have yet to upgrade all their business offerings to the Core Duo platform), as well as excellent performance and a comprehensive array of features. As we did with the ThinkPad T-series model before it, we recommend the T60 to any serious business that can’t afford to scrimp on its laptop fleet.’

Laptop Magazine reviews the Lenovo ThinkPad T60 laptop and writes - ‘The 1.66-GHz Intel Core Duo processor T2300 and 512MB of RAM delivered a low score of 211 on MobileMark 2005, but performance should prove fine for business use. Thanks to the ATI Mobility Radeon X1300 graphics, the T60 delivered the highest score in 3DMark03 in this roundup of 3,170, good enough for the occasional game on the road. You can be on the road for a long time; the nine-cell battery in our configuration lasted for nearly 5.5 hours with Wi-Fi on, and more than six hours with it off. We wish the screen was a little crisper, but otherwise the T60 is the perfect business notebook.’
