Credit-Card Processor Hit by DDoS Attack
‘U.S. credit card transaction-processing firm Authorize.Net has been the target of distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks that have led to periodic disruptions in service for some of its customers.
“I would describe the attacks as intermittent and large-scale,” David Schwartz, Authorize.Net’s marketing director, told NewsFactor. “The attacks are still continuing, but we have installed technology which has successfully thwarted these attacks.”’
