Michael Jackson mulls moving to Britain
‘Pop singer Michael Jackson will leave the country if he is cleared in his California child molestation trial, Fox News reports.
Among rumored relocation sites are London or Paris, Africa and Saudi Arabia, as “the pop star knows he has to take a breather from the (United States) if he wants to rehabilitate his career,” columnist Roger Friedman said.
As Jackson’s trial in Santa Maria appears to be in its final days, rumors are also flying he will sell his Neverland ranch with its staff of 100, a zoo and carnival.’

Report: I just read That Mr. Steve Wynn, the owner of The Belagio and Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas has offered Michael Jackson to headline in Vegas if he is aquitted.???

is that supposed to be a good thing? I could be wrong, but i always thought vegas was a gaudy stop for the use-to be and washed up performers (even though elvis was there too and i love him) isnt headlinging in vegas the end of the road?

Heck no, the big news out of Vegas is Celine Dion, still a huge draw, and the Circe de Soliel (two shows), technologically the most advanced shows in the world (far beyond Cats and the Phantom of the Opera, for example), featured in Time, Newsweek etc etc. I don’t think Vegas is passe just yet.
The point is SOMEBODY still thinks Jackson is a draw and is willing to back their conviction with cold, hard cash.
Why am I always in opposition? I don’t want to be.

I know celine is there and does well, but I also feel her days at being in any top 40 is in her past. Well, if the belagio-wynn would contract mj, they better make him perform his “older” music.

Wynn and Michael meet back in the 80’s and has talked about future projects together.

a child molester is just a rapist that prey’s on children, and since all of Jackson’s accuser’s and victom’s are boy’s I guess that makes him a QUEER TO so a place like Britian would suite him just fine ( he is even to imoral for California ) that should say something

If Michael tries that crap over there, I can assure you they will be much less patient than our system is being with him. If he gets adquitted and it turns out that Michael IS a petiphile, moving isnt the cure. Without the mental help he needs he will continue the behaviour.
