Michael Jackson jury sees nude boy books
‘Prosecutors in Michael Jackson’s abuse trial have shown the jury two books seized from the singer’s bedroom which they say show naked boys.
The pictures were found in 1993 during a previous molestation case involving a boy who received a multimillion-dollar settlement from Mr Jackson in 1994.Also on Friday, prosecutors said they planned to call three new witnesses.’

These books are all about young boys buttocks and mouth wide open eating hotdogs. Some call it erotica. What normal man would have these books? The State of California has changed laws to stop this criminal. If he gets away with it again, shame on us!

I knew this, I predicted this. The prosecutor was not going to leave his presentation on a weak note. The most explosive testimony is yet to come. Sneddon is not a fool. This is going to be very strong testimony on Monday. My opinion

Rowe sandbagged the prosecution’s case. She let them to expect that she would be a strong witness against MJ, and then tesitified to the opposite of what Sneddon expected. But it’s not over yet. Sneddon may impeach Rowe… with good reason. It is not over yet.

Wendy, do you know for a fact about these books? If MJ had littleboy books , as well as theothers, that would be very signiticant testimony - although not hard evidence.

I don’t understand why Sneddon didn’t even anticipate that Ms. Rowe just wanted more money from MJ. He should have had backup to at least make her a hostile witness and really made her cry…

Angelica - about the books, they have been showing pictures from the books on COURT-TV all day, the boys are about 11-12, butts flexed, all in a row, it is discusting.

Wendy, I think this will be the strongest piece of evidence yet. I, for one, did not believe MJ was a pedophile because there was no evidence of these kinds of books… if he had them too, then the jury is going to have a hard time not convicting him of pedophilia… even if they cannot charge him with conspiracy etc.
If the books exist
They cannot aquit

There are two books. One was sent by a fan as a present. He keeps presents sent by fans. The other nude boy book is innocent (some will not accdept that, but it is. Michael’s inscription is, I want this kind of freedom for my children” not a sexual thing. The books are not as damning as I thought at first. Neither one is illegal.
The drama continues

To continue, I don’t think these books are going to have much of an impact on the jury - contrary to what I thought before.
I am back to believing that this is probably a conspiracy by people who would like to have some of MJ’s millions.

Wendy - these two books are legal to buy and sell, which means they are not judged to be pornographic. Furthermore, they were confiscated more than 10 years ago! And in a more recent raid on Neverland, NOT ONE of the books siezed had pictures of young boys. MJ, it seems, preferred to look at pictures of young women, which would appear to indicate that he’s heterosexual.
Well, as I say elsewhere, people who think MJ is guilty of being a homosexual pedophile will continue to think that way; and people who think MJ is not guilty of that, will continue to believe that. The point is that prosecution still has work to do to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that MJ did what his accusers say he did.

Rafe, sometimes you make some good points. However much I believe that he is guilty there will be people who will believe thta he is not. Either way some parties will end up saying the verdict was all wrong. As for fair trial, how can anyone have one in this media circus that is the American Judicial process? Sleeping with boys, innocently or not, is not appropriate behaviour for an adult. Nor is letting your kids sleep with MJ either.
I like reading your opinions as they arevry srongly in favour of MJ (you must be a massive fan) but whatever happens MJ will never be the superstar he once was. Still guilty for me though.

ronnocosed, I am a fan of Willy Nelson, Joni Mitchell, Tom Waits, Sarah Brightman, Maria Callas, Gordon Lightfoot, Sting, Don McLean (starry starry night is perhaps my fav song of all time) the Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springstein, the Bare Naked Ladies and many others, but I have never listened seriously to MJ. Maybe I would like him if I did, but I have not. So my opinions are not flowing from a strong, enduring admiration for this man or his music.
I agree with you that his career is probably over, whether he is convicted or vindicated, but you never know, you never know. Americans (and everyone else) love notoriety and celebrity.
I agree with you 100 per cent that a man in his 40s sleeping with boys, even innocently, is improper and personally, it makes me go ewwww. But unless he truely molested them, it’s not criminal.
That’s where I come from.

I’ll say something else. I loved it when, in the morning, the kids would pile into our bed, and there would be tussleing, pillow wacking, tickling and everybody would be in hysterics. I loved it when one kid, and then the other, would come into our bed after one of them had a nightmare and we would comfort them and let them stay with us. I loved it, being able to provide comfort and protection, and to hear them sleeping away. I don’t think MJ ever had that closeness with his parents. Maybe that has something to do with it.
So.

Rafe, Nice sensible reply. Thanks.
I have a son and two daughters and understand what you are saying relating to comforting your own kids. MJ has been affected by the way in which he was brought up and he obviously needs help, so maybe that has something to do with it. I am just astonsihed hat he would allow himself to be put in this position more than once. He chose the wrong documentary maker (Bashir certainly stitched him up) but I cannot accept that MJ is that naive he would not know or think of the consequences of his actions.
Finally, if you have never really listened to MJ then you should. I do not doubt his musical ability but I cannot see past these accusations.

You are persuasive of your view and I am not indifferent to your arguments (?). Once again, we return to the point we reached once before… an agreement to differ with mutual respect.
