Michael Jackson’s ranch manager denies kidnap order
‘The manager of Michael Jackson’s Neverland ranch denied giving any order to hold captive the family of the boy now accusing the singer of molestation.
Questioned about a log book entry to prevent Jackson’s alleged victim and his brother from leaving the ranch, Joseph Marcus told jurors at the pop star’s trial that he had issued the directive purely for safety reasons.
“The children had been known to show up at the gate by themselves in one of Michael’s vehicles,” Marcus told jurors.
The log book entry read: “The kids are not to leave.”
Jackson, 46, is charged with molesting a 13-year-old recovering cancer victim two years ago and plying him with alcohol.’
