Numenarh says mouthpieces are silly as heck.
Okay. I posted some stuff as did Maahes, Roseena, Susabella and others that was not MJ specific and some of the posts were removed. The trial is over and the verdict is in and over and done. Now. Now it seems to me it is time to move on. I was supportive of Jackson and really think he should have been found innocent…but to not allow some people the ability to post is silly. I have been back since the verdict and the group here now is nothing but mouthpieces for the glory of MJ. It is old news. Get more into the world people. Bombs in London and death all around the world. Lots of important things are happening. I know Blogging is cool. Prove this site is cool and allow people to post things that are not directly related to your one person main-idea and life blood MJ. I would feel less aggrivated but some posts were deleated and others were not.
Maahes had some of his posts yanked and so did Roseena. We were not even warned this was a site that did not tolerate any bitty bit of sidetracking. MJ….MJ>>>>MJ and MJ. All hail the prince MJ. Give me and others a break. MJ is innocent and I am glad for this but I don’t think posts should be yanked without explination. I mean the site has our mail address so a private message that such mail would be censored in the future would be nice instead of deconstructing parts of the arguments between Maahes, Numenarh, Roseena and Sue. The end. Numenarh tells it like he sees it, no matter what.

I don’t understand your problem Numenarh. I think maybe you are confused about how this site is set up. This is a “news” site and as far as I can tell it is set up in sections such as; Technology, People & Events, etc. with specific sections like; Britney Spears Watch, Paris Hilton, Best Photo Printers, and on and on. You are writing/communicating in the section on Michael Jackson. So your complaints about people making coments only about MJ don’t make any sense - MJ is what this section is about and most people here are just staying on-topic. If you want to talk about different news events, go to the section of this blog that deals with what you want to discuss!

Pat - I’m not sure if you realized what took place prior to Numenarh’s post. There was a group (myself included)discussing mj’s visit to bahrain, we then spun off into related and unrelated topics. The site admin edited the threads and deleted posts that he deemed unacceptable because they were not “exclusively” about MJ.
I am not sure if you noticed Pat, but there isn’t much activity on the site anyymore. MJ news is rather tired and has passed it’s peak. Numenarh was speaking for everyones interest (including the site) to expand the “permitted” topics and allow people to branch off into discussions. I am not sure where you stand on censorship, but I prefer not to be unfairly censored. This site was deleting posts, selective posts, based on the degree of jackson’ness it contained.
Pat, if you were a participant on this blog pre-verdict, you would notice the recent decline in activity, posts, and attractiveness of the site. All we were poiinting out was loosening of the censorship leash would only benefit the forum and bloggers.

When we set up your accounts for posting we said to keep things on the topic of Michael Jackson. Articles that aren’t about Michael Jackson do not make sense on this site but please feel free to start up a blog on blogger.com or something and discuss politics etc there.
If there was nothing in the post about Michael Jackson, it was deleted - to repeat, this is a blog about the Michael Jackson trial. It’s not about being mean or censorship. This blog will remain on the Michael Jackson trial and it’s OK if the traffic dies down.
Also, some of the posts were removed as they were quoting entire articles which is against this site’s policy - and not good for copyright either.

If and when you all find a blog that we can post to without censorship, please let me know! I’m bored with Michael Jackson, the trial is over.. he’s left the country.. the end. I still think he’s guilty.. just tired of talking about it, since it does no good, he got off.. the end. But I did really enjoy “our discussions” to put it nicely! lol and I do miss them. This blog is the first thing I checked every morning when I got up. Most of my posts were done as I was having my first cup of cofee.. and it was a great way to start off my day!

We tried to find a new place to freely post and not worry about being “deleted” if our posts were lacking MJ content. If your ever interested… topics can vary widely.
The recent MJ news is enough to anger me. It appears the jury failed to assure justice was served. I am not sure how or why a jury can give a not-guilty verdict if they truly believed he was guilty. They didn’t do their job.

We do have RAID 1 0 on the DB servers, a live backup running now, and have done a few other things to ensure this won’t happen again. The timing was unfortunate because things were still in transition because of the datacenter move.
