Welfare worker testifies that Jackson accuser’s mother lied
‘A Los Angeles County social services employee testified in Superior Court in Santa Maria today that the mother of Michael Jackson’s teenage accuser lied on welfare and food-stamp applications.
In a Nov. 15, 2001, application for public assistance, the mother did not disclose a civil settlement she and her children received from J.C. Penney, or that she had full health-care coverage for herself and her family.
Eligibility worker Mercy Manriquez’s testimony comes as the defense attempts to show that the accuser’s mother has a history of lying for money. The defense has maintained that the accusations against Jackson were orchestrated by the mother so that she could later pursue monetary damages from the entertainer in civil court.
Also today, a forensic accountant testified about banking activities involving the mother.
Mike Radakovich of San Luis Obispo testified that $32,308 was deposited into the mother’s Washington Mutual account from the lawsuit settlement from J.C. Penney. The family had accused J.C. Penney security guards of physically mistreating and fondling them while being detained for allegedly shoplifting.’

Sure it is the same old story, but the question is, is it true. I think it is obvious the mother has a history of using her kids for financial gain. Does that automatically mean that Michael is innocent? Not necessarily. Michael may be her perfect victim.
