Samsung BlackJack Review - PDAStreet

Samsung i607 BlackjackPDAStreet reviews the Samsung BlackJack and writes, ” You’ll also get Cingular Music and Cingular Video applications that let you enjoy your locally stored tracks (get a microSD card, if you’re going to do this, as the phone only offers 64 MB RAM and 128 MB ROM) or take advantage of the high-speed network. If you live in an area with 3G access, you’ll appreciate how quickly streaming audio and video loads. In our testing, clips began almost immediately, just like on a home broadband network. Keep in mind that most of the streaming options require an extra fee.”

Sony Ericsson W880 Review - GSMArena

Sony Ericsson W880GSMArena has a review of the Sony Ericsson W880 and writes, “We are really pleased with the improved user interface. The sound is nice, too. The only negative side that the W880 has is the performance of the external loudspeaker when it comes to listening to music. It produces only the high and mid tones and there is not even a trace of the lower ones. What is more the sound is a bit hollow and metallic. But that is an inevitable consequence of the ultra slim shell which can only house a really small loudspeaker. Furthermore, there is a certain crack sound when playing music at the highest volume level. The Sony Ericsson W850 loudspeaker performs way better when it comes to loudness, and when it comes to great sound our all time favorite is the Sony Ericsson W950, but then again it doesn’t play music as loud as W850.”

LG U400 Review - Absolute Gadget

LG U400Absolute Gadget reviews the LG U400 and writes, “The phone really comes into its own with music. With a set of earphones (luckily you can use any headphones you like - none of thisproprietary nonsense) the phone reproduces music very well and if you don’t have an iPod, this will make a suitable substitute. You can also use the phone’s Bluetooth function to stream music to a suitably equipped pair of loudspeakers using A2DP.”

Nokia N76

Nokia N76CNET Australia has a first take review of the Nokia N76 and writes, “We tested the N76’s music features with a pair of Bose QuietComfort 3’s that the product developer had on hand. Music quality sounded excellent, but that might have been more to do with the high-end headphones than the phone itself. A welcome addition is a 3.5mm headphone jack. Unlike the proprietary Pop-Port connector or the 2.5mm jack found on many Nokia phones, the 3.5mm connection allows you to plug in any headsets without the need for an adaptor.”
