Samsung T609
Infosync reviews the Samsung T609, and had this to say about the phone’s music player: “Unlike the super-slim T509, the clamshell T609 comes with an integrated MP3 player, complete with a sleek interface, a pair of groovy visualizations, on-the-go playlists and shuffle/repeat modes. T-Mobile doesn’t have a mobile music storefront yet, but we were able to send MP3s to the phone via Bluetooth. Pretty nice, although we missed features such as an equalizer or the ability to listen to music through a Bluetooth headset. ”
Mobiledia reviews the Samsung SGH-T609 and notes, “Unfortunately the T609 uses a non-standard Headset Jack, so only the supplied headset (used for handsfree conversation) is possible for private listening. Having only one earpiece, mono sound limits audio quality. Unplugged music from the external speaker projects from the top hinge of the T609.”
DigitalTrends has a review of the Samsung T609 and writes, “Bluetooth is unfortunately crippled too much on this phone to get any good use out of it. Transferring files becomes a back and forth game of syncing up the computer you’re using with the phone. Those heavy into listening to audio on their phone should probably look elsewhere, the Sony-Ericsson Walkman line or the Verizon line of VCAST phones are better choices. These are phones designed to suit music junkies.”
