BenQ P50 to be Released in Taiwan

Here’s another example of a PDA that has been talked about for a while, and finally being released. The BenQ P50 is a great looking device, but the specs are the same as we’ve seen many months ago. You would think that it would be updated…with Windows Mobile 5.0 for example.
Well, maybe that will be the case when, or if the BenQ 50 ships worldwide. For now it will just be released in Taiwan next week. All the same, the current configuration, features, and specs of the BenQ P50 equals a nice package:
416MHz Bulverde processor, 64MB ROM, 64MB RAM, Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition, QWERTY keyboard, GSM quad band, GPRS, 1.3 megapixel camera, 2.8” touch screen, TFT, 240×320 pixels, 262K colors, SDIO and mini SD slot, Wi-fi, and bluetooth.
Estimated cost: $500 - $700
