PalmSource shows off new smart phone software
‘PalmSource introduced a range of mobile phone software and third-party applications at the 3GSM World Congress in Cannes on Monday, highlighting its extension from PDAs (personal digital assistants) to smart phones.
The handheld OS (operating system) provider highlighted four new applications that draw on the company’s recent acquisition of China MobileSoft, which makes a version of Linux for cell phones.’
